General aviation flights have increased significantly in past six months and a new resident-based group is working to change that. The group is Long Beach SANeR (Small Aircraft NoisE Reduction) Group | Facebook
Here is the link to their page

About us: We are a grassroots group founded by residents who are concerned with the increase of small aircraft noise that is consistently circling our neighborhoods everyday at all times of the day impacting the following areas: Signal Hill, California Heights, Bixby Terrace, Bixby Highland, Ridgewood Triangle, Los Altos, and Signal Hill.

We are not trying to shut down our beautiful airport or commercial flights, this is only for the small aircraft noise increase.
Rules: We like to insure posts that are relevant, so please don't be alarmed if we remove your comments and or posts that are hateful/mean/politically based, harassing or trolling you will be removed/blocked. Things that will get you muted, suspended or banned (this is our ban progression) : *Name Calling *Telling the Admins and Mods to F*&K off *Promotion of violence *The "you moved by an airport" argument. WE KNOW WE LIVE BY AN AIRPORT AND ARE NOT OPPOSED TO IT. [email protected].
