On Thursday, October 15th the Long Beach Planning Commission will be holding a Hearing on the proposed Will J. Reid Boy Scout Park housing development project.
The zoning must be changed from open space to a new category known as RP-13 that will allow 13 homes per acre. The individual parcel size will be 2400 square feet.
The project requests approval to build 131 homes on this site. If you believe that this development will have negative impacts within this area of Long Beach please plan to attend this meeting. Appeals to the decision are only allowed if you are present at the hearing to speak or provide your comments in writing.

Cabe Toyota Sign Construction:
n appeal before the city council regarding the Planning Commission denial to Cabe Toyota for construction of a 450 sq.ft. electronic message center to sit above the existing 58 ft. tall sign will be heard on November 17, 2015.
The CUP request was denied by the Planning Commission because it was not in compliance with several existing city restrictions. If you do not want to see light intrusions into any Long Beach neighborhoods, please come to show your support for this Los Cerritos community.
